Nozzle Cleaning Kit

Due to their unique design Jetvent’s nozzles adhere to the internal surfaces cleaning all types of ductwork. A wide range of nozzle options allows us to clean all types of horizontal and vertical ductwork up to 1 metre square. Minimal access is required as, unlike brush or robotic cleaning, nozzles, can pass through turning vanes or fire dampers. See Flash Video 1

TDB Robot

Used in conjunction with a portable extract unit this is a four wheel remote controlled robot, guided by a joystick and with an attached CCTV for monitoring its cleaning operation. It can be fitted with either rotary brush heads or a whip stream high-pressure air nozzle. With the capability to lower and raise its boom and its manoeuvrability it is generally used in large ductwork (i.e. 1m x 1m plus) or ductwork where contamination has become well adhered to its internal surfaces. Rotary Brush Duct-cleaner

This equipment consists of a rod shaft (anywhere from 10 metres – 20 metres in length) connected at one end to either a hand held variable speed drill or frequency converter box unit. At it’s end is a round brush head similar to a chimney sweep head but with different types and qualities of bristles to suit the nature of contamination to be cleaned. We generally use this equipment on spiral or flexible ductwork in conjunction with a portable extraction unit. Once again this equipment requires a minimum of access and is often fed into systems via grille boxes.

Airgun/Air Blaster

Where grilles or tight areas of ductwork are difficult to clean due either to accessibility or construction we will use an airgun or blaster. This can be fed through a 40mm hole, an access hatch or where grilles cannot be removed through the grille louvers. This is especially useful for cleaning grilles or flexible ducting ‘in situ’. As with all our air equipment it is used in conjunction with a portable extract unit connected to the ductwork.

Extractor 45 – Portable Extract Unit

A portable extraction unit equipped with pre-filters, bag filters or HEPA filters gathers all contamination from the ductwork.

Air Balloons

These specially constructed balloons are inflated in the ductwork via an access hatch and are used to shut off branches. This will control extraction airflows, stop cross contamination to other areas during cleaning, or prevent re-contamination of ductwork previously cleaned.
